Training Program in Regenerative Medicine (NIH T32)
Program Overview
The University of Florida’s Training Program in Regenerative Medicine is an NIH-funded, University-supported endeavor to train PhD students and Postdoctoral Fellows in the mechanisms & potential of applying stem cell biology to the treatment of human disease. The training program leverages the interdisciplinary nature of the University’s Health Science Center in its effort to develop trainees’ ability to translate regenerative medicine applications from the bench to the clinic. Faculty from 10 departments, mostly in the College of Medicine, participate as core mentors, and trainees in the program are at liberty to select mentors from this group or from the wider array of training grant mentors throughout the Health Science Center.
